What is collected
Account: email address, display name, an optional avatar, bio and links you choose to add. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Sessions: a session cookie, and for each signed-in session the browser user agent and IP address, so you can see where you are signed in and sign other sessions out. These are deleted when the session ends or expires.
Sign-in protection: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in, sign-up and password-reset attempts. These short-lived records expire on their own.
Content you submit: projects, files, images, comments, ratings and reports.
Activity: page views, download initiations and outbound clicks, deduplicated and recorded against a one-way hash rather than a raw IP address.
Email delivery records: recipient address, template name and whether sending succeeded. Message bodies are not stored.
What is not collected
Activity analytics, reports and download records never store a raw IP address, only a one-way hash. Payment details are not collected: the site does not take payments.
Why
To operate accounts, submissions and moderation.
To keep the site working: rate limiting, abuse prevention and file safety checks.
To show creators real statistics about their own projects.
To send transactional email you have asked for or that concerns your account.
Cookies and third parties
Essential cookies are used for sessions and security. Advertising and other non-essential third-party requests do not happen unless a consent management platform is configured and has recorded your consent. See the cookie preferences page.
Retention
Activity events, audit records, email logs and notifications are kept for the windows configured in the admin dashboard and then deleted.
Your data
You can export or delete your account data from account settings. Deletion removes personal data; published content may be retained in an anonymised form where other people have relied on it, and moderation records are kept as required to run the site.
Children
The audience and minimum age decision for this site is recorded in the admin dashboard and must be completed before launch. A checkbox on a form is not a substitute for meeting child-privacy obligations in the regions you serve.
